Kerala Kings beat SLC by 8 wickets in eighth T10 League clash

SHARJAH: Kerala Kings beat Team Sri Lankan Cricket by 8 wickets in the washed-out eight match of the first T10 League here at Sharjah.

Kerala Kings were given the victory as rain stopped play at a time when it was already raining sixes as Pollard and Walton took SLC bowlers to cleaners and hit 40 and 47 runs respectively.

As Kings had already made 92 runs in 6.1 overs, they were awarded the match according to D/L method.

Earlier SLC won the toss and chose to bat first. Captain Chandimal remained top-scorer with his 38 off 24 balls. Bhanuka and Rambukwella on the other hand took Kings’ bowlers to cleaners by hitting 26 off 16 balls and 20 off just 6 balls respectively.
