SHARJAH: A quick fifty by Shoaib Malik helped Punjabi Legends beat Kerala Kings by 8 wickets in the fifth clash of the first T10 League here at Sharjah Cricket Stadium.
Malik scored unbeaten 60 off 25 with the help of six 4s and four 6s. Umar Akmal quick 31 off 13 was crucial for Legends to set the momentum.
Earlier, Misbah-led Punjabi Legends won the toss and decided to bowl first against Morgan-led Kerala Kings.
Kerala Kings scored a plausible 114 runs with the help of Paul Stirling’s 46 against Punjabi Legends.
Punjabi Legends lost their first match against Bengal Tigers earlier in the day making this game a must-win for the team.
